TOM EADIE B. Sc. (Hons) M. Sc., F.AusIMM,  SA Fin
Chairman

Tom Eadie is the Managing Director and Chairman of Copper Strike, a successful, ASX listed base metal explorer in eastern Australia. In addition he is a director of Royalco, a specialist exploration company in the Philippines as well as the holder of numerous royalty agreements.

Tom has had over 20 years experience in the junior resource sector, including one year running Austminex NL and at technical to senior executive levels with major mining companies including Pasminco, Aberfoyle Resources and Cominco.  At Pasminco he was Executive General Manager – Exploration and Technology for 11 years. At Aberfoyle , he began as chief Geophysicist before assuming the role in charge of all mineral sand and base metal exploration.  Tom is a past board member of the Australian Institute of Mining and Metallurgy and the Australian Industry research Association.

Tom has a B.Sc. (Hons)  from  the University of British Columbia (Canada), a M.Sc. in Physics (Geophysics) from the University of Toronto (Canada) and a Graduate Diploma in Applied Finance and Investment from the Securities Institute of Australia (now the Financial Services Institute of Australasia).

ALISTAIR CAMPBELL B.Eng(Mining), GDipAppFin, MAusIMM
Managing Director

Alistair Campbell is a mining engineer with 25 years mining industry experience. Alistair is the founding Director of Austgold Mine Consulting Pty Ltd, a successful mining consultancy for the past 7 years.

Prior to this, Alistair had 18 years of direct industry experience with Ross Mining NL, Barrack Mines Ltd and Western Mining Corporation Ltd across a diverse range of roles up to Resident Manager and General Manager level. Alistair holds Mine Manager Certificates for both WA and Qld.

Alistair has broad experience across open cut and underground metalliferous mining projects ranging from direct management of mining operations to an extensive range of scoping and feasibility studies and due diligence assessments. This strong background in project evaluation will be drawn upon as Syrah Resources will as part of its business strategy pursue projects that hold potential for early mine development.

Alistair has a B.Eng (Mining) from Curtin University (WA School of Mines), a Graduate Diploma in Applied Finance and Investment from the Securities Institute of Australia (now the Financial Services Institute of Australasia), and a Graduate Diploma in Business Administration from Curtin University.

TERRY LEES B.App.Sc. (Geol), M.Sc. (Geol), M. Env., FAIG
Exploration Director

Terry haS over 20 years experience in exploration and mine geology, much of this with a lead-zinc and copper-gold focus and exposure to diverse geological terrains. Expertise includes management of exploration teams and programs, risk analysis in exploration and development, and extensive knowledge of global mineral deposits. Terry spent nearly 3 years in academic research into mineral deposits, at Melbourne and Monash Universities, principally with the predictive mineral deposits Co-operative Research Centre. This involved extensive research on ore deposits and geology, including roles as Program Coordinator and Senior Research Fellow.

Terry has an Applied Geology degree from RMIT, Masters degrees in Geology (University of Tasmania) and Environment (University of Melbourne), and is a Fellow of the Australian Institute of Geoscientists.

Ms MELANIE LEYDIN
Company Secretary

Ms Melanie Leydin has been appointed as Company Secretary. Ms Leydin graduated from Swinburne University in 1997, became a Chartered Accountant in 1999 and since February 2000 has been the principal of chartered accounting firm, Leydin Freyer.

Her practice involves outsourced company secretarial and accounting services to public companies in the resources sector. This involves preparation of statutory financial statements, annual reports, half year reports, stock exchange announcements and quarterly ASX reporting and other statutory requirements. Her practice also audits listed and unlisted public companies involved in the resources industry.

Ms Leydin has 19 years experience in the accounting profession and is a director and company secretary for a number of oil and gas, junior mining and exploration entities listed on the Australian Stock Exchange.

Exploration Manager (Saudi Arabia)

Mike has worldwide experience in exploration for gold, base metals and industrial minerals and has operated his own consulting and contracting practise for over 30 years.

He has a broad background as an exploration manager/geologist and project manager in Australia, Africa, South America, Asia, the Middle East and the Pacific. During his career Mike has worked in most geological environments and settings around the world, including those hosting epithermal gold, VHMS mineralization (copper/zinc/lead and gold), IOCG-U systems, narrow vein, disseminated, and alluvial gold systems, massive and disseminated nickel deposits, sediment-hosted and porphyry copper deposits, skarn deposits, igneous fractionation systems, iron deposits, and mineral sands. He has a particular liking for new terrain and remote area exploration.

In addition to exploration and general project and company supervision Mike has at various times been involved with feasibility studies, project generation, joint venture negotiations and management, mine operations and mineral processing.

Mike has a B.Sc (Geology) from the University of New South Wales and is a Fellow of the Aus. I.M.M.
